L'Île aux chiens is the result of a dream that we have long cherished: leave our life in the big city with our dogs and give them a more natural life in the countryside.

Now it is in a paradise that our dogs live their days. Our mothers can now bring up their puppies in tranquillity and freedom.

Here, dogs don't live in cages and they have the benefit and joy of living their lives together.

The quality of the environment that we provide our big family with is a constant concern. Therefore to the extent possible, our dogs benefit from a type of freedom that allows them to develop their true personality as dogs. Here a large part of the education of the young is provided by the older dogs and is naturally acquired through observation and experience, without interfering with the development of the personality of each. So with us live side by side without animosity the Maltese and Pug, the Westie and Jack Russell, without forgetting the Chihuahua, Yorkshire, and a couple of other friends we've picked up along the way. Each one knowing his role and place within our big family. In this way, all of our dogs regardless of breed develop good social skills that they can pass along to their children, bequeathing qualities very useful to the puppies when it comes time to integrate themselves to their new family…
